This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s growing data science team in a business that is disrupting the industry. In this role, you will focus on developing machine learning models to deliver their product roadmap.What you will be doing:Develop a range of machine learning models via the full lifecycle process {business understanding, feature engineering, prototyping, training, evaluation}Work with the engineering team to deploy accepted modelsCreate presentations that tell the story of these models, utilizing visualizationsWork collaboratively with the engineering, platform, product, and wider business teamsWork within a DataOps frameworkWhat you must have:You are comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity and can demonstrate the ability to change and adapt as our business scalesYou have a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or similar (Masters or Ph.D. an advantage)You have a strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learningStrong experience in developing ML models in PythonExperience in developing ML models in a fully Spark environment is an advantageExperience in PySpark is an advantage (but it’s a great opportunity to learn if not)Experience in using version control software (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, etc.) is an advantageExperience in IDE-based (as opposed to notebook-based) development is an advantageYou are structured in code development and annotation, ensuring usability for othersYou have sound interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with othersYou have excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills, with a well-structured and analytical approachYou are highly commercially aware, particularly in prioritizing timeSalary/Rate Range: $125,000 – $150,000Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
