NOW HIRING – SEASONAL PAVING CREWBorder Paving Ltd. | Stony Plain, Alberta | Full-Time SeasonalBorder Paving Ltd. is hiring experienced and reliable crew members for the 2025 construction season.We're looking for individuals who are focused, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment.POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
  • Rakers
  • Paver Operators
  • Roller Operators
  • Screed Operators
  • Ground Personnel
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience with asphalt processes and paving equipment
  • Solid understanding of worksite safety protocols and paving hazards
  • Familiarity with hot mix asphalt, grade/slope control, and joint preparation
  • Physically capable of extended outdoor work in varying conditions
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Available for overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate and maintain paving equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards
  • Complete daily inspections and perform minor servicing of assigned equipment
  • Ensure proper execution of grades, slopes, and compaction to meet job specifications
  • Rake joints and seams to specification, in coordination with rolling operations
  • Support crew activities including sweeping, shoveling, and material handling
  • Interact respectfully with the public and maintain a professional worksite presence
