- Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of use
- Conducts field walk downs to identify and document job requirements
- Identifies safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work
- Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
- Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedules
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries are made on time
- Support supplier meetings and negotiations to ensure demand for materials is met
- Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organization
- Manage maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively, provide the planned maintenance service in the future
- Maximize equipment reliability through using planned maintenance most effectively
- 5 years work experience in electrical maintenance field
- Strong electrical aptitude
- Some level of supervisory experience is desirable
- Ability to write detailed repair report
- Able to perform some level of cost analysis and work withing a structured budget
- Journeyman Red Seal Certification or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Good computer skills
- Self-starter who can anticipate need and work in a team setting and independently
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking
- Able to manage tasks in a fast-paced, growing work environment
- Experienced using SAP
