Provides a variety of research support such as: * Collecting and summarizing literature such as articles and journals.
  • Assisting with surveys/questionnaires.
  • Observing and collating material.
  • May involve statistical analysis.
  • May involve computer modeling.
  • May involve direct contact with research subjects.
REPORTS TO:
As designatedQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:
  • Grade 12, plus completion of four years in a related post-secondary program
EXPERIENCE:
  • Six months’ related experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES RELATED TO THE JOB
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to plan and organize work
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Working in forest field conditions and in laboratory and office
