The Enterprise Security Architecture team is a centre of excellence covering the technical architecture and strategy for security services to be operated or consumed within Morgan Stanley. We support facilitating strategic planning, investment prioritization, and portfolio management, sets technology and provides oversight of adherence to policy, architecture and SDLC standards.In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. Read on…What you’ll do in the role:
- Contribute to the definition of the security architecture model, and its alignment to firm policy and taxonomy.
- Contribute to the development of a controls and threat-based architecture process.
- Apply and own the security architecture across some key domain initially focused on infrastructure, networks, data, operating systems, remote access, and application security.
- Collaboration with other architecture specialists on adoption of the model and application within their domains.
- Integrate and adopt Enterprise architecture processes and concepts and actively participate with the architecture governance forums.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
- Competent knowledge of Public Cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
- Exposure to/delivery of database designs, normalized data modelling, structured/unstructured database technologies including cloud implementations.
- Expertise in security architecture (e.g. SABSA), threat modelling (MITRE), and risk assessment.
- Strong technical background in one or more key domains (e.g. Networking, Data, AI, Application Development)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders; and within architecture/design governance processes.
