Your place in our story
The primary role of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to collaborate with the product marketing team as a subject matter expert in driving online engagement and conversions. The Digital Marketing Specialist is highly analytical, with demonstrated experience in web development/design including SEO, email marketing, digital marketing platforms, advertising/promotional strategies, and CRM.Here's how you'll contribute
  • Collaborates with the product marketing team to provide thought leadership in identifying, planning, and implementing digital initiatives including website, social media, email, and campaigns
  • Leads the digital briefing documents, project plans, proposals, and presentations
  • Anticipates and raises any website or digital requirements, effort, and timeline attributed to all projects, and obtains necessary approvals
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the A/B testing calendar and reporting, i.e. website, email, and campaign creative
  • Website - Implements, monitors, and optimizes website performance, including SEO; directly updates website content and pages; serves as a liaison with contracted web developers to develop and troubleshoot the website; and provides recommendations based on the latest trends in website design and user experience.
  • CRM - Works in CRM to increase effectiveness and improve adoption by sales force and product marketer, and maintains an understanding and provides thought leadership in CRM functionality, list management, and linkages with email platform and website
  • Email - Maintains a solid understanding of email and database strategy and email best practices; builds and designs email templates and campaigns; and leads email automation strategy and implementation.
  • Social & Paid media - Maintains detailed knowledge of all platforms and recommends strategies for optimizing ads, i.e. SEM, social, display
  • Reporting - Monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes marketing campaigns - budget recommendations, creative, delivery, and timing, delivers digital performance reporting needs with assessment against key performance indicators and analyzes user attributes and behavior to provide recommendations to apply to current and future campaigns
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Actively participates in digital marketing industry associations to network, share experiences and acquire knowledge of industry standards and best practices;
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of CASL and AODA guidelines
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management
What you bring to the team
  • University Degree (Business, Marketing, or Communication) or College Diploma (Marketing, business, or related field), specialization in digital marketing
  • A minimum of two to four (2-4) years of relevant work experience
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments across various channels
  • Solid knowledge of analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HootSuite, AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, CRM tools, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, with a superior ability to present and sell your ideas
  • Strong ability to prioritize and balance concurrent projects
