Actalent is hiring a MECHANICAL DRAFTER for one of our Aerospace clients located in Terrebonne, QC.Description:
  • Interpret and convert legacy 2D hand-drawn technical drawings into accurate 3D models and 2D CAD drawings.
  • Use Autodesk Inventor to model parts and generate properly dimensioned and tolerance 2D drawings.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications and apply them to CAD work.
  • Work with stainless steel, bronze, and cast metal components (composites are less relevant).
Skills & Qualifications:
  • DEC or DEP in mechanical or similar
  • Minimum 2–3 years of CAD experience; must be able to work independently with minimal onboarding.
  • Comfortable working with legacy documentation and converting it into modern CAD formats.
