- Help define the vision for the next generation of the Croesus platform, drawing on in-depth knowledge of the real needs of financial advisors and Canadian institutions;
- Identify opportunities to transform existing workflows (portfolio management, rebalancing, client reporting, KYC, performance attribution, fee billing, compliance);
- Translate this field knowledge into concrete, proposed, high-impact product initiatives;
- Represent Croesus to strategic clients at Customer Advisory Boards and industry conferences.
- Actively use AI tools in your own work process-research, synthesis, analysis, writing specifications-to operate with rigor and efficiency;
- Work with the product team to identify the financial advisor workflows that are best suited for improvement through AI;
- Define the principles for integrating AI into the platform: when it suggests, when it automates, when it alerts - always respecting the advisor's autonomy and trust;
- Collaborate with the AI/ML teams to translate business use cases into actionable specifications and validate that the solutions delivered create measurable value in the field;
- Help define standards for the explainability and transparency of AI features, taking into account Canadian regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ongoing discovery with financial advisors, compliance officers, and operational teams at Canadian banking institutions;
- Help map user journeys and identify priority friction points;
- Build and maintain a multi-horizon roadmap (Now-Next-Later), balancing feature parity, market differentiation, and new AI capabilities;
- Validate product assumptions through pilots, usability tests, and alpha/beta programs with strategic customers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to translate the vision into an executable backlog;
- Ensure rigor in financial data: data accuracy, reconciliation, audit trail, exception handling;
- Integrate regulatory requiremen;ts from the design stage (e.g., CIRO, AMF, CRM2, PIPEDA)
- Monitor post-launch adoption and performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Reporting to : VP & Chief Product Officer
- 5 to 10 years of experience with leading Canadian financial institutions: major banks, brokerage firms, institutional or independent portfolio managers of significant size;
- In-depth operational mastery of WealthTech workflows: portfolio management, rebalancing, fee billing, performance attribution (TWR, MWR), client reporting, trading, settlement, corporate actions;
- Hands-on understanding of Canadian regulatory constraints: CIRO, AMF, CRM2, Client Focused Reforms, KYC/AML, suitability obligations, PIPEDA;
- Knowledge of the ecosystem: custodians, market data providers, FIX/ISO 20022 standards, existing technology players;
- Proficiency and enthusiasm for AI;
- Active user of AI tools in daily work: LLMs, generation, analysis, and automation tools;
- Ability to build structured AI workflows to increase own productivity;
- Good knowledge of the concepts underlying modern AI architectures (RAG, agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop) - conceptual mastery is sufficient, in-depth technical expertise is not required;
