Wage: $40.03 per hour, as per the Collective AgreementSummary:Axis Family Resources Ltd. is hiring a Part-Time Behavioral Consultant. In this role, the successful candidate will provide intensive services to Children and Youth with Special Needs (CYSN). In cooperation with the Ministry of Children and Family Development and/or other community service providers, the goal is to address the complex needs of referred children and youth while reducing challenging behaviors. - Master's degree in (preferably in the field of Behavioral Psychology) social work, Psychology, Child & Youth Care, or equivalent education and experience in this field is required
- Experience with applied behavioral analysis, comprehensive functional assessments, as well as creating, writing, and implementing positive behavioral support plans is required
- Experience working with children and youth with special needs, trauma, Autism, FASD, and other developmental disabilities is an asset
- Reliable transportation and a valid BC driver's licence
- Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)
- Effective written and verbal communication
