Our client, a leading not-for-profit organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (CPA) to join their Finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in financial analysis, reporting, and partnering with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. This opportunity offers a hybrid model with only 1 day in the office.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Conduct variance analysis, identify financial drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.Collaborate with business units to ensure budgets and assumptions align with strategic goals.Lead audit support, reconciliations, and documentation for external auditors.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and organizational policies.Drive process improvements in reporting, planning, and financial governance.Qualifications:
CPA designation (mandatory).
Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance (public accounting experience).Strong knowledge of ASNPO (accounting standards for not-for-profit), investment accounting, and complex revenue recognition.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modelling, formulas) and ERP experience.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Collaborative, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
