- Provide safe, compassionate pre-hospital and non-emergency patient care within your scope of practice (EMR, PCP, or ACP).
- Complete stretcher and medical shuttle transfers, ensuring safe patient movement and comfort throughout transport.
- Support flight transfers and air ambulance/repatriation missions as required, collaborating with flight crews and other healthcare providers.
- Deliver on-site medical standby for events, industrial and corporate sites, and other client locations, including initial assessment, treatment, and coordination of further care when needed.
- Conduct patient assessments, obtain and document vital signs, provide appropriate interventions, and monitor patient status during care and transport.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and trip reports in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.​
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies are clean, stocked, and in good working order at the start and end of each shift.​
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, site contacts, and receiving facilities to support coordinated, seamless patient care.​
- Uphold all company policies, professional standards, and the regulations of the College of Paramedics of Alberta.
- Competitive hourly wages ranging from CA$21.50 to CA$36.00, based on certification and experience.​

- Regular, ongoing casual work from a permanent Edmonton base, with additional event opportunities in Southern Alberta.
- Current and valid EMR, PCP, or ACP certification.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Paramedics of Alberta.
- Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
- You have a safe driving record with no recent violations or preventable accidents.
- You possess strong clinical judgment within your scope of practice, with a commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.
- You are Professional with positive attitude, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in field-based environments and adapt to changing situations and client needs.
- Physically able to perform patient handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving patients and equipment as required.
- This is a casual role based in Edmonton, AB (surrounding area; some events in Southern Alberta).
- Shifts are variable and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and split shifts.
- Service operates 7 days a week, typically between so flexibility is essential.
