- Monitor incoming customer payments across multiple channels, including wire transfers, cheques, PayPal, and credit cards.
- Apply cash receipts accurately and promptly to outstanding accounts using company systems.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, responding to customer inquiries as required.
- Conduct wire traces to support the collections team and reconcile customer account balances.
- Manage customer records and accounts to facilitate order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
- Perform administrative tasks such as uploading invoices to portals, managing documents, and assigning tickets.
- Conduct manual credit reviews for accounts not automatically approved through Dun & Bradstreet.
- Assess creditworthiness by analyzing reports, payment history, and account standing, adhering to company policies.
- Make credit decisions within authorized limits, including approvals, alternative payment recommendations, or declines.
- Collaborate with collections and billing teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Proven experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, or related financial roles.
- Familiarity with cash application processes and systems, such as NetSuite.
- Knowledge of credit approval workflows and risk assessment practices.
- Proficiency in utilizing Dun & Bradstreet for credit evaluations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in resolving payment discrepancies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Experience with financial processes in the IT software industry is an asset.
