Document Control / RFI ClerkWere hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Document Control / RFI Clerk on behalf of our client in the construction industry. In this essential role, you'll be responsible for managing drawings, specifications, and Requests for Information (RFIs), helping ensure project accuracy and smooth communication from office to site.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, organize, and file incoming drawings, specifications, and change ordersLog RFIs from site teams, coordinate responses with designers or engineers, and track repliesMaintain up-to-date drawing sets and ensure all crews have the latest revisionsKeep digital folders organized and regularly backed upSupport project managers with reports, registers, and general documentationFollow up with trade partners on outstanding documents or overdue responsesQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in office administration or document control (construction experience preferred)Proficiency with basic computer tools: Word, Excel, PDFsExcellent attention to detail. Version control and date tracking are essentialClear written English, with tidy file-naming and formatting habitsProfessional and calm communication style when working with supervisors designers, and trade partnersComfortable visiting construction sites with required PPE (hard hat, vest, boots)Familiarity with Procore or similar software is an asset (training provided needed)Compensation & ScheduleStarting at $24/hour, with potential for higher pay based on experienceFull-time, Monday to Friday, day shiftOccasional overtime may be required near deadlinesInterested in joining a fast-paced project team and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
