Your search ends here!We are currently searching for a Journeyperson or skilled Apprentice Pipefitter for an exclusive permanent position starting April 16, 2024. This position offers a 7-day in/7-day out work schedule, attractive camp accommodations, and a travel allowance paid at the end of each shift. Please note that this opportunity does not provide flights; therefore, you must have reliable transportation to and from Christina Lake, AB.If you are a registered Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter, have 3+ years of maintenance experience, possess the necessary safety certifications, and can tackle the job's demands, we encourage you to make your mark with us.   • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams to understand the layout and configuration of piping systems.
  • Inspect the condition of piping systems for damage, corrosion, wear and tear, etc.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
  • Routine maintenance of piping systems to prevent issues from arising
  • Replacing damaged piping components, including pipes, valves, fittings, etc.
Does this sound like you?
  • Journeyperson or Apprentice Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification.
  • Valid CSTS-20, H2S Alive tickets, Aerial Work Platform, and Fall Protection safety tickets are mandatory.
  • 3+ years in previous maintenance roles as an asset.
  • Access to your own reliable transportation.
  • Driver's abstract under 5 demerits to be able to operate company vehicles required.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
