We are seeking dynamic team players who meet the educational needs of the healthcare system. The School of Nursing offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across two campuses, including Health Care Assistant, Practical Nursing (Williams Lake only), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, and Master of Nurse Practitioner programs.The School of Nursing seeks applications for one (1) Tripartite tenure track position with a potential start date of July 1, 2026. The successful candidate with a tripartite appointment will teach theory and practice courses in undergraduate and graduate programs, have a well-developed program of research/scholarship, and engage in service to the school, university, profession, and community.QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortly thereafter.
  • Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
  • Five (5) years full-time or equivalent hours of nursing experience;
  • Evidence of a program of scholarship/research;
  • Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing;
  • Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
  • An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
  • Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment; transcripts and references required for interview
