If you have questions, please feel free to ask during your interviewDescriptionThe Material Handling Equipment Technician maintains, diagnoses, and repairs issues with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure they are operational and meet safety standards.ResponsibilitiesAssess, research, and identify solutions to hardware and software issues with Material Handling Equipment (e.g., sortation equipment, conveyors, motors, electrical panels, sensors, communication devices, etc.)
Perform repairs and assist other teams in troubleshooting
Prioritize and log issues for resolution; escalate complex or persistent issues to Supervisor
Support teams when troubleshooting breakdowns to provide background information
Provides on-site and in-house technical support to department, operations, and mechanical staff in various terminals and locations
Provide on-site commissioning support (preparing systems for operation after installation) (i.e., programming, testing troubleshooting).
Prepare documentation for millwright or other team members for review and future reference by Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager
Document technical knowledge in technical bulletins and manuals
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Read, understand, and diagnoses system issues , supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) or other information exchange servers or logs.
Completes electrical work (e.g., connecting motor, sensor, etc.) and maintains orderly work areasAdditional ResposibilitiesEducationDiploma in Engineering Technology or completion of course equivalency in automation programs from a recognized educational institutionExperience3 years of experience in a computerized maintenance management (CMM) environmentSkillsEquipment MaintenancePOSTING DETAILS
