- Guide guests through the Timberline Traverse tower.
- Be able to efficiently and correctly gear up guests.
- Accurately inspect, record, and maintain safety equipment.
- Maintain a high level of attention and focus throughout the day to effectively manage guest safety.
- Instruct guests on the basic abilities needed to help navigate through the aerial tower.
- Keep guests comfortable and engaged during their visit.
- Utilize clear and professional communications to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in transporting guests and supplies to and from the course as needed.
- Maintain rescue skills and be able to maintain proficiency under adverse or stressful conditions.
- Identify, manage, and actively mitigate risks to both guests and staff by utilizing best practices.
- Identify proper use and limitations of equipment, safety lines, rescue kits, and course components.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Incident Response tactics.
- Focus on professional, respectful, and engaging coaching techniques.
- Allow guests to embrace “challenge by choice” experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude at work.
- Prior experience with outdoor recreation, athletics, educational roles, high ropes instructor experience, or ziplining is a plus but not required.
- Candidates must have the physical capability to perform technical rescues and assist guests of various sizes throughout the course.
- Enthusiastic and energetic team player able to work in a dynamic outdoor environment.
- Punctual, trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimal fear of heights and be able to walk up and down 4 set of stairs several times a day.
- First Aid certification
