Company: MarshDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our National Affinity Insurance Solutions team at Marsh. This role will be based in Toronto This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.What can you expect?You will be responsible for growing satisfied client relationships, acquiring new clients and partnering with various resources to provide superior client solutions. The Senior Client Executive is ultimately fully accountable for all solutions and resource delivery to the client as well as the management and growth of the client P&L, individually and in the aggregate across a book of business. Bringing your commercial acumen and business development skills, you will play a critical role in identifying and securing new business opportunities for Marsh.We will count on you to:Review client/prospect exposure loss experience and current coverage, and analyze the risk to determine the product/service requirementsCommunicate client needs and binding instructions to insurers;Implement and maintain a quality service plan, including ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, and other relevant documentsCreate and present renewal proposals to existing clientsContribute to placement strategyNegotiate complex insurance programs with underwriters when requiredAdvise clients on coverage issuesConduct stewardship meetings with client participationAlong with the team, generate new sales through existing clients and client referrals in accordance with the business planManage timely billing/collection for each clientDevelop a working relationship with all functions within the company to improve client service and increase cross-selling opportunitiesEngage the appropriate industry group and Marsh resources to offer best in-front resources for each client/prospectParticipate in professional development activities/coursesComply with Marsh Excellence and Professional Standards to ensure quality service to all clientsWhat you need to have:10+ years experience in commercial insuranceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to independently service medium- to larger-end (somewhat complex) accountsDeveloped client relationships with Economic Buyer and Risk ManagerGood knowledge of client risk issues and Marsh solutionsProven track record of effectively managing and retaining renewal businessRIBO License (or willingness to obtain)What makes you stand out:Professional Liability, D&O and/or Programs and Affinity experienceGrowth focused mindset and ability to participate in industry focused eventsLeadership skillsStrong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlinesWhy join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Marsh McLennan is committed to embracing a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment.
