We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in various tools and techniques, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing systems operate efficiently and meet all safety standards.This is a permanent, full-time role with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits!DescriptionResponsibilities:
  • Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
  • Ensure daily communication with Leader
  • Respond to service calls in a timely and effective manner
  • Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls – these piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids
  • Size, install, test, adjust and service natural gas and propane equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers
  • Maintain and repair existing plumbing
  • Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet
Required SkillsExperience and Educational Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyman Certificate / Red Seal Endorsed as a Plumber and a Gasfitter (B)
  • 3 years residential / commercial experience required
  • Hydronic heating experience is an asset
Technical Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset
Non-Technical Requirements:
  • Have the physical stamina to lift heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kgs
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods and occasionally work in cramped positions
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently (self managed) and with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm
