Class 1 Driver Evening Shift

- Hourly rate: $30.10/hour (per CBA)
- Frequent overtime available
- Shifts will vary based on operational needs
- Regular schedule: Sunday to Thursday, starting at 5:00 or 6:00 PM and ending at 1:00 AM
- Fridays and Saturdays off
- Unionized facility
- Safely and efficiently transport live turkeys from farms to the plant
- Prepare and deliver quality poultry products to customers
- Ensure a safe work environment for co-workers, customers, and visitors
- Perform duties related to swamping and picking up birds
- Complete other duties as required
- Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver’s License with air brakes for tractor-trailer units
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass a road test through a third-party provider
- Clean 5-year commercial driver’s abstract
- Physically fit and able to roll tarps up and down in both summer and winter conditions
- Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must follow Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Environmental Standards at all times
- Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location
- Regular need to stop, move, or lift light materials or equipment
- Regular exposure to conditions causing moderate discomfort
- Occasional need for close visual and hearing attention
- Repetitive work environment with some pressure from deadlines, production quotas, and accuracy demands
