Responsibilities include providing comprehensive training to new employees on site safety, material handling equipment, warehouse management systems, and quality control procedures. You will also conduct ongoing refresher training for existing employees to ensure continuous development and adherence to safety protocols.Additional duties involve auditing employee performance, generating reports and recommendations, ensuring proper training documentation, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. You will actively seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve safety performance.In addition to your training duties, you will take the lead in communication strategies to raise awareness and promote understanding of work processes. When not engaged in training, you will assist with warehouse tasks and perform material handling duties as required.Qualifications
5+ years of experience with material handling equipmentProficient in operating the following equipment:
-Counterbalance forklifts
-Reach trucks
-Order pickers
-Pallet jacks-Previous training experience is an asset-Familiarity with wireless RF systems-Knowledge of preferred picking practices-Experience working in cold storage environments-Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite-Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)-MHE Trainer (Train the Trainer) certification is preferred or a willingness to obtainSummary
