Location: Victoria, British ColumbiaWhat you will be doing:Helping to estimate the effort of engineering tasksEnsuring your code is well tested, programmatically and manuallyDeveloping new featuresParticipating in daily/weekly meetingsDebugging and fixing production issuesWorking closely with other developersPromoting best practices for software development and securityMentoring and providing code reviews for other developersResearching new technologies and actively contributing to systems designTest changes to our software to ensure a high level of qualityProviding technical assistance to our customer success teamWhat you must have:5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack, front-end or back-end developerStrong experience building high-reliability Python applications andStrong experience working with JS and frameworks such as React and AngularReal-world experience with cloud platforms, containers and KubernetesBachelors or advanced degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business, design, human-computer interaction or related field or equivalent work experienceAbility to convincingly articulate complex analytical ideas in a simple way to a variety of key stakeholders from different functionsStrong leader, educator, and mentorExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesExperience working in an agile environment with code review.Salary/Rate Range: $105,000 – $120,000For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
