Our client in Winkler, Manitoba is seeking an experienced Plant Sanitation Manager who understands that sanitation goes beyond cleaning, it’s about protecting product integrity and ensuring food safety.This is a critical leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on driving continuous improvement in sanitation programs.Plant Sanitation Manager
  • Lead and manage all sanitation activities across the facility, ensuring compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, CFIA, GMP)
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation programs, procedures, and schedules
  • Oversee pre-operational inspections and ensure the plant is audit-ready at all times
  • Partner closely with Quality Assurance and Operations to maintain product safety and plant readiness
  • Manage and develop sanitation team members, including training, performance, and accountability
  • Ensure proper chemical handling, usage, and inventory control
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to sanitation or contamination risks
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring strong results and compliance
The successful candidate has:
  • Must have a minimum of +3 years as a sanitation manager in a food related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing or a regulated production environment.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build, enforce, and sustain high standards.
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $70 000 to $85 000pa depending on experience
