Our clinics integrate family medicine, specialist care, and allied health services to provide comprehensive and coordinated treatment for our communities.Position SummaryFoundation Health is seeking a skilled and collaborative Endocrinologist to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will provide consultative and ongoing care for patients with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, working closely with primary care providers and allied health professionals.This role offers flexibility in scheduling, referral volumes, and the opportunity to build a focused or general endocrinology practice.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders, including:
  • Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational)
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Adrenal and pituitary conditions
  • Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease
  • Lipid disorders and metabolic syndrome
  • Interpret and manage diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, dynamic testing)
  • Collaborate with family physicians and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide patient education and support for chronic disease management
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary case discussions
Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (MD) with certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
  • Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Commitment to collaborative, team-based care
