Join Always Best Care Senior Services of Edmonton as a Health Care Aid, where you will provide compassionate and essential support to seniors in the Edmonton, AB area. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and caring environment.Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Support clients with medication reminders and follow care plans as directed.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervising healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients both inside their homes and during outings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aid or Personal Support Worker program.
  • Current and valid certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a strong desire to help seniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening.
