The Automotive Technician will perform preventative maintenance, new car stock prep, tire repair/replacement and perform brake work according to company policy and procedure. This position requires someone who will exercise excellent judgment and take initiative.This is a full time position and will pay $32.00 / hourThis position is located at our Service Center 280 Attwell Drive Etobicoke, ON M9W 5B2 or 400 Annagem Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5T 3A8.We offer:

Schedule
  • This is a 7-Day Operation location. Must be available between Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, and must be available to work on Saturdays.
ResponsibilitiesWe are Hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications/ guidelines
  • Perform Annual Truck Safeties
  • Perform buy back/turn back service according to company procedures
  • Maintain safe and clean work area
  • Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
  • May process new fleet, lube, oil change, filter and tire rotation, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
  • Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
  • Perform other related duties as required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Must have a current and valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
  • Must have Automotive Service Technicians certificate (310S) Ontario.
  • Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.
  • Must have a clean mechanical record in Canada.
  • Must be able to withstand moderate physical activity (i.e. lifting up to 30lbs, long periods of walking and standing)
  • Excellent time management skills and strong organizational skills.:
  • Must be available 40 hours a week between Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, and must have Saturday Availability.
