High School Math TutorSchedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (required) | Thursday & Saturday (preferred)Our hours count! Gain valuable teaching experience!Oxford Learning Forest Hill is currently seeking a versatile and committed tutor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with students across age groups and is passionate about building both academic skills and confidence.We’re looking for a tutor who is comfortable supporting high school math (primary focus), some physics, and academic writing, while also being able to work with younger students on foundational reading, writing, and math skills.About UsAt Oxford Learning Forest Hill, we help students of all ages achieve academic success through personalized programs that build strong learning skills. Our approach goes beyond homework help — we teach students how to learn.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach high school math (primary focus), with some support in physicsSupport students with writing and literacy developmentWork with elementary students on reading, writing, and math skillsPrepare students for standardized tests (e.g., SAT) as neededDeliver engaging, individualized instruction based on each student’s needsTrack student progress and provide feedback to the Education CoordinatorFoster a positive, motivating, and structured learning environmentQualificationsStrong proficiency in high school math (required); physics is an assetComfortable supporting students across multiple grade levels and subjectsExperience teaching or tutoring high school studentsAbility to also work with younger learners (elementary level)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentSAT preparation experience is an assetMust be able to commit for at least one year (this is not a summer-only role)Availability RequirementsMandatory: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (afternoon/evening hours)Preferred: Thursday evenings and/or Saturday morningsWhy Join Oxford Learning Forest Hill?Consistent part-time hours (no lesson planning required)Supportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to work with students across a variety of subjects and age groupsMake a meaningful impact on students’ confidence and academic growthJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $20 / hourLocationOxford Learning Forest Hill
