- Lead detailed design and production of land development project infrastructure, such as roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
- Coordinate / produce / seal detailed design drawings, calculations, reports, construction cost estimates, tender documents and contracts.
- Strategically plan land use and development projects.
- Chair regular project meetings with clients and internal staff.
- Develop new business and establish strategic relationships with key clients, agencies and partners.
- Coordinate with other team members and monitor project progress to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved.
- Provide leadership in safety and quality management practices.
- Prepare and submit superior proposals.
- Generate invoices for clients and track against agreed client budgets.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
- A degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with strong technical skills and 5 – 15 years of related technical experience.
- Registration in good standing as a P.Eng in BC or ability to obtain registration through existing inter-jurisdictional agreements.
- Construction Administration is an asset.
- Proven ability to attract and retain clients, win projects and consistently provide high quality deliverables on time and on budget.
- Demonstrated business development skills.
- An aptitude for leadership, continuous learning, knowledge sharing and relationship building.
- Bonus points if you have experience with all government levels, construction contractors and developers.
