What will you do?
  • Process and respond accurately and in a timely manner to enquiries from our Customers and Branch network across Canada.
  • Handle updates and cancellation of orders for our Customers, Branch network and vendors according to department policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain delivery dates and information on products.
  • Provide expected shipment dates for product arriving and departing from the Distribution Centre.
  • Document and process warranty claims.
  • Create and track returns to the DC, including reporting discrepancies
  • Support the flow of information between procurement and the branch network for impact orders.
  • Facilitate updates to orders when a product has been discontinued with or without replacements.
  • Enter and manage returns to Vendors including customs documentation
  • Create and analyze reports to support business execution.
  • Participate, contribute and support the DC process improvement initiatives
  • Perform various office and administrative duties, which may include handling shipping documents, reception and maintaining databases
What will you bring?
  • Post secondary education plus a minimum of five (5) years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Through knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies, processes and procedures
  • Experience in working with AS400 and WMS
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software including Access, Excel, Word and Visio
  • Ability to work cross functionally within the organization as well as with customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success working in a team environment
  • Professional presence; ability to communicate effectively via phone & email.
  • Highly organized in prioritizing work, multi task and thrive in a fast paced environment
