- Process and respond accurately and in a timely manner to enquiries from our Customers and Branch network across Canada.
- Handle updates and cancellation of orders for our Customers, Branch network and vendors according to department policies and procedures.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain delivery dates and information on products.
- Provide expected shipment dates for product arriving and departing from the Distribution Centre.
- Document and process warranty claims.
- Create and track returns to the DC, including reporting discrepancies
- Support the flow of information between procurement and the branch network for impact orders.
- Facilitate updates to orders when a product has been discontinued with or without replacements.
- Enter and manage returns to Vendors including customs documentation
- Create and analyze reports to support business execution.
- Participate, contribute and support the DC process improvement initiatives
- Perform various office and administrative duties, which may include handling shipping documents, reception and maintaining databases
- Post secondary education plus a minimum of five (5) years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Through knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies, processes and procedures
- Experience in working with AS400 and WMS
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software including Access, Excel, Word and Visio
- Ability to work cross functionally within the organization as well as with customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success working in a team environment
- Professional presence; ability to communicate effectively via phone & email.
