Job Title: Lab TechnicianLocation: Corunna, ONOur client is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting quality control and process analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Description:

Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards in the laboratory and onsite.
Perform routine and non-routine testing for in-process and finished products using specialized equipment such as Melt Indexers, FTIR, densitometers, and more.
Conduct chemical analysis of process samples utilizing gas chromatographs, auto titrators, and wet chemistry methods.
Validate testing equipment daily and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and test method issues.
Generate and analyze statistical data to maintain quality control and support product release processes.

Qualifications:

3-year Diploma in Chemical Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated commitment to Responsible Care® standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test results.
Proficient knowledge of plant operations, lab testing, and testing equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
