We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store Clerk & General Labourer to join our team in North York. This role combines customer service, warehouse support, and general store operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Offer product information (specifications, cooking, storage, and handling instructions)
- Assist customers with placing orders and loading purchases (when available)
- Operate POS (point-of-sale) system and process payments
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Load and unload orders and deliveries
- Stock shelves, walk-in freezers, and display units
- Assist drivers with deliveries as needed
- Organize and manage daily tasks efficiently within store hours
- Assemble corrugated boxes and package products
- Prepare sales representative samples
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Paid breaks included
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Customer service experience is an asset
- $18.50/hour during training and probation (first 3 months)
