In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, verification, and storage of goods within our facility. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, inspecting deliveries, matching shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring an efficient workflow across operations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and verify goods by carefully checking shipments for damage, discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders or invoices
Record and update detailed records of received goods, including quantities, descriptions, and dates
Manage inventory by ensuring proper storage and organization of received goods, using computer systems to track inventory levels
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to address issues or discrepancies
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the receiving area is tidy and safe for operations
Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment to move, load, unload, and position materials, pallets, and products safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and lifting equipment, including lubrication, battery charging, fuel refills, and pre-use inspections.
Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of relevant experience; or
1–2 years of relevant experience with post-secondary education or a related certification/license
Valid Counterbalance and Walkie Forklift Licenses required; candidates must present licenses during evaluation
Strong organizational skills – Ability to maintain order and track multiple shipments and inventory items
Attention to detail – Keen eye for identifying discrepancies or damage in shipments
Basic math skills – Capable of performing calculations for inventory tracking and quantity verification
Computer literacy – Familiarity with inventory management systems and accurate data entry
Effective communication – Able to communicate clearly with vendors, suppliers, and team members
Physical stamina – Comfortable lifting and moving objects as needed and working in a fast-paced environment
