Benefits: Enjoy competitive benefits and an attractive salary.Your Role & ImpactUnder the guidance of Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in addressing the following challenges:Main responsibilities:The successful Electromechanically technician will work under the Maintenance Supervisor as part of a team responsible for optimizing the machinery output by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery.Responsibilities
- Repair, install, assemble, maintain and test industrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps and compressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical and electronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems);
- Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in the plant and perform repairs;
- Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doing repairs;
- Report any specific findings, known problem or delays to supervisor;
- Other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor
- A high school diploma and vocational training or program are usually required.
- Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionized environment an asset
- Successfully complete internal testing.
- Relevant industrial experience preferred, experience in troubleshooting and repair.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards an asset;
