- Start Date: Intake during April to start May 4, 2026
- Duration: The project is expected to last 3 weeks (subject to change) with the potential to roll over to another TA in June.
- Location: Camp Accomodations with our client
- Shift: 24x4
- Overtime: Overtime eligible! Shifts are based on an 8/44 rule.
- Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)
- Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints
- Liaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliers
- Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers
- Provides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
- Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- Registered Journeyman Apprentice 2nd, 3rd or 4th year
- Standard first Aid, H2S, CSO, ESC Confined Space entry, ESC Fall Protection
- Receptive to change and can adapt to changing circumstances
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA
