- be responsible for developing new and updating existing training programs by utilizing Cameco's Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
- Consult with key stakeholders to develop this training curriculum and deliver plans to meet the operation's needs.
- Use adult learning principles to deliver training programs to site employees and contractors.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all departments and contractors.
- Determine training requirements and develop and deliver classroom and practical training.
- Deliver training and conduct evaluations of employee performance.
- Maintain attendance/enrollment and training records in computer database.
- Certificate in Adult Education and/or Train the Trainer certification along with a background in training and development in a mining environment. A combination of relevant training experience, on the job or formal education would be considered.
- Understanding of Systematic Approach to Training
- Experience in an industrial mine setting
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively (visual, oral & written)
- Contribute to the development of instructional materials
- Strong computer, presentation and communication skills are essential
- Experience in SAP and Microsoft office applications
- Previous training and/or peer training/mentoring experience (5-8 years) in Underground Hard Rock Development mining environment
- Knowledge of mine construction

Salary Range: $110,800 - $138,500*Safety Sensitive SitePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN).The McArthur River operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.*This information is presented as the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the total rewards provided for this position.
