DescriptionPharmacy Assistant Opportunity
Status: Full-Time
Shift: Evening (flexibility required)
Location: Richmond Hill, ON - OnsiteWe are looking for organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. This role involves working closely with pharmacists to support daily operations, including prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and providing excellent service to patients. If you have experience with robotics and central fill operations, we encourage you to apply.What you will do:
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians (RPTs) to accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions using manual and robotic systems.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
  • Prepare medications for dispensing, including counting and labeling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims and managing patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
  • Support central fill operations, including prescription fulfillment and inventory management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems.
  • Understanding of pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience with robotics and central fill operations is preferred.
Salary Range: $32,000-$48,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 5%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
