- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately
- Stage freight in assigned dock lanes/zones as directed
- Assist with hand-bombing and special handling when required
- Follow load plans and instructions from the Dock Coordinator
- Damage

- Accurate labelling
- Immediately report discrepancies, damage, or concerns
- Ensure freight is placed in the correct location to prevent misloads
- Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Report all incidents, near misses, and hazards immediately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free dock
- Keep lanes clear and freight properly staged
- Clean trailers before loading where required
- Any other ad hoc relevant job duties as required/assigned from time to time.

- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- 2+ years of forklift operation in a warehouse or LTL environment preferred
- Minimum high school diploma
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Trained in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, walk, bend, case picking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in hot or cold temps and a moderately dusty environment at times.
- Safety oriented
- Task-oriented – self-motivating.
- Proficient use of English, both written and spoken; additional languages considered an asset.
- Forklift Certified
- Proficient use of English, both written and spoken; additional languages considered an asset.
- TDG and WHMIS certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Safe work compliance (zero incidents)
- Loading/unloading productivity (trailers/hour)
- Freight handling accuracy (minimal damages/misloads)
- Adherence to dock staging and flow standards
- Responsiveness to Dock Coordinator direction
