Business group: GCF - Enterprise Delivery OfficeThe Technology Delivery Lead works in partnership with application owners and technology groups, planning and guiding application teams through remediation of software currency exposures ensuring that application owners are managing their portfolio in accordance with the Bank’s Software Currency Framework. This involves being proactive and helping future proof software portfolios in respect to supported software. This includes researching and alerting application teams of pending End-of-Life dates, the creation of remediation plans, working with technology groups to provision servers and coordination between testing and business teams, tracking of the progress and the validation of remediation completion. If the application teams run into challenges/blockers, these items are raised with management. They assist application owners in understanding the software current reporting tools, CMDB, impact of reporting KRI and management indexes. The intention is to be the trusted source of all things software currency.Project: The Technology Program Office reports into the SPO and is responsible for the delivery of Global Corporate Functions Software Currency Initiatives. This includes Project/Program Management, Project Life-Cycle Planning, KPI Reporting and Benefits Realization. We provide an end-to-end view of all Global Strategic Programs and liaise with key IT Corporate Functions. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Project Manager will be leading the upgrade and remediation of core technologies within the Bank.Candidate Value Proposition:

- Leading application project teams to deliver solutions
- Creating and executing implementation plans (e.g. project plans using MS projects)
- Working with technical team members within matrix environments and communicating with stakeholders on an Executive level
- Creating and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
- Tracking project updates and informing stakeholders as needed
- Accountable for project’s budget management
- Working on project end-to-end to define procedure/processes and push changes through delivery
- Support team initiative to upgrade legacy technologies to new supported versions.
1 8+ years’ experience managing technology projects working with high scale, enterprise-wide projects – the candidate must have the ability to drive solution and delivery of project (legacy system upgrades)
2. previous experience with program budget/people management (relationship management with different stakeholders)
3. 5-7+ years of experience performing impact analysis and identify system interdependencies
4. 3+ years’ experience with delivery of technical solutions (e.g. data migration, server migrations)
5. 5+ years’ experience creating and delivering presentations using tools like MS Project, and manipulating data using Excel (V-lookups, charts, pivots, etc.)Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Working in enterprise environments
- Previous experience within Canadian Telecom or Insurance companies, or Canadian banks
- PMP Certification is an asset
- Previous experience working on software initiatives (infrastructure and application migrations)
- Clear, crisp, and tight communication skills are central to this role and will be assessed in interview.
- Well organized and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence various levels of key stakeholders and push project results forward.
- Post-secondary degree in a technical field or business management
1st round
- 1 interview with Director and Program Managers (30 minutes) that requires presentation (key elements for status update for stakeholders, 1 slide executive summary) – in person
