This is your opportunity to lead from the front — overseeing day-to-day site operations, mentoring crews, and driving projects to success.As Site Supervisor, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems on the ground, and lead by example — all while working with one of Nova Scotia’s most respected and well-established construction companies.What you’ll be doing
  • Leading and supervising site crews to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
  • Reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Performing layout duties to support project execution.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to health and safety standards and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
  • Utilizing Procore (or equivalent project management software) to manage documentation, schedules, and progress tracking.
  • Fostering a collaborative, respectful, and safety-first work environment.
What we are looking for
  • Red Seal Carpenter designation or equivalent training/experience.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Strong proficiency with layout duties and site documentation.
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction/project management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Better SuperVision Training certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work throughout mainland Nova Scotia.
