Our client is seeking an Industrial Paint Technical Representative to join their team. As an Industrial Paint Technical Representative, you will be part of the technical support department supporting customer relationships and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Industrial Paint Technical RepresentativeLocation: Peterborough, ONPay Range: $75,000 - $85,000What's the Job?
  • Build effective working relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Coordinate and communicate daily operations and projects with customers and internal teams, including project planning and facilitating meetings.
  • Monitor and track online performance and incoming quality for processing, color, and appearance criteria, communicating issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Obtain build data, inventory, and usage information to support inventory management and resolve pricing, credit, and RGA issues.
  • Implement and track value-added activities to enhance the paint production process and analyze paint and process problems using formal problem-solving methods.
What's Needed?
  • BS degree with 4 years of industry-related experience or 6 years of applicable experience in automotive paint and processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and understanding of colorimeters (X-Rite/BYK MAC).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to visually assess color and make recommendations or adjustments.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and flexibility in work schedule.
