- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering scope development, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Prepare preliminary and bid-phase schedules based on RFP documentation, scope requirements, and tender specifications.
- Work with Project Managers, estimators, planners, and subcontractors to build activity plans, define milestones, and establish project controls.
- Create cost- and resource-loaded schedules, perform resource-levelling, and generate forecasts, histograms, and production-rate tracking.
- Monitor schedule progress, analyze trends and variances, adjust forecasts, and prepare progress and performance reports.
- Support risk reviews by identifying schedule risks, analyzing impacts, and incorporating mitigation strategies into the schedule.
- Coordinate regularly with Project Managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to gather updates and align schedule priorities.
- Attend on-site meetings as required to support schedule coordination and progress verification.
- Support cost control, document control and change management, through accurate schedule data and reporting.
- Assist with monthly job invoicing by providing schedule-based progress data and supporting documentation.
- Prepare weekly look-ahead schedules, productivity updates, monthly forecasts and WIP reports, and quarterly progress summaries.
- Maintain accurate project records, notes, and documentation to support updates, presentations, and close-out activities.
- Assist in developing project-specific planning procedures and internal control processes.
- Provide technical and administrative support to project operations, including reporting, planning, monitoring progress, estimating, and scheduling.

- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Scheduler utilizing Oracle Primavera P6
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Experience working on high risk, high complexity projects
- Claims experience, an asset
- Solid understanding of engineering and construction workflows
- Strong understanding of how planning and scheduling integrate with cost management, with hands-on experience developing and monitoring project cost and schedules
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools and programs eg. MS Project., Excel, Visio, PowerPoint; JD Edwards, Procore, are assets
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively
- Self driven, motivated, and able to work independently
- Travel to project sites, as required
- This position is currently based in-office in Leduc, AB. Please note the office is scheduled to relocate to Acheson, AB by year-end.
