With a focus on profit management, strategic business opportunities and partnership, marketing campaigns, etc., for all lines of business, including Personal Lines (group, specialty and retail,) Commercial Lines, and all Aviva brands (Elite, Traders, etc.), ensuring brokers are receiving the support they need to deliver on their business.Come join our team!What you'll do:Ongoing performance management, including monitoring mix of business, new business support, LR and retention trends, and other key success indicatorsIdentify strategic opportunities with broker partners, including succession planning gaps, merger or acquisition potential, business planning, digital readiness and portfolio transfersAct as the single point of contact for a broker partner, coordinating and orchestrating internal and external resources as vitalProvide brokers with creative solutions to their business challenges, strengthening our partnershipsProfit management through disciplined broker / portfolio managementGive brokers insights into their portfolios to help them manage their business (and ours)Use analytics to identify trends, mix of business problems, LR issues, etc.Drive rehab processes where applicableBusiness planning and execution through the development of plans with brokers that align with Aviva’s territorial and line of business objectivesIdentifying strategic opportunities via portfolio transfers that add profitable volume to a broker’s book of business and identifying acquisition targets as well as consolidatorsSuccession planning activities to fill any gapsRelationship management through building and strengthening relationships with principals, mid-managers, key producers and frontline staffDrive sales and marketing activities by aligning to the business plan, help brokers to grow their portfolios with AvivaDevelop solutions and find answers for their brokers by understanding their individual needs and providing expertise on how they can grow their business with Aviva.What you'll bring:University – undergraduate degree or equivalent experienceCIP designation8-10 years of related experience in the insurance industryPortfolio management and marketing experienceStrong analytical and decision-making capabilitiesRelationship management skillsCustomer and results focusedStrong networking capabilitiesVery strong business management (business plans, marketing plans, metrics, understands business drivers) capabilitiesSophisticated negotiation skillsStrategic problem solverExcellent oral and written communication skillsWhat you’ll get:Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.Outstanding Career Development opportunities.We’ll support your professional development education.Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per yearEmployee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusionCorporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental healthHybrid flexible work modelAviva Canada has an accommodation process in place to provide accommodations for employees with disabilities.
