Travel Details: Fly to and from site from the Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs.GC: GrahamAllied Partner: Heartland Constructors Inc.Reference Number: 30807Jardeg is recruiting an Electrician Journeyperson to join Heartland Constructors on the CNRL Horizon Maintenance team near Fort McMurray, Alberta. The Journeyperson base hourly rate is $53.11. This is a permanent position working 12 hour day shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off shift rotation. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs) are provided by the company.What this position has to offer:

As an Electrician Journeyperson your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to;
  • Expertly identify and able to proficiently install almost all material components.
  • Expert conduit skills.
  • Expert with circuitry planning and installations.
  • Expertly read and comprehend drawings and specifications.
  • Expert control systems planning and installation.
  • Adhering to safe work practices and procedures.
  • Proficient multi-meter, Meggar, Phase Rotation meter and AMP-Meter usage.
  • Proficiency in ARC Flash awareness.
  • Mentor junior apprentices.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Certified Electrician Journeyperson.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory 3-year Driver's Abstract
  • CSO
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Aerial Work Platform
  • Basic Rigging
