Job Description:Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (Contract)Location: Downtown Toronto (3 days onsite, hybrid)Duration: 6-month contract (through October, with potential extension)Our client in financial services/banking industry is seeking an Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join their FP&A team.You will work closely with the broader FP&A team and directly support a senior team member with recurring monthly reporting, expense analysis, and financial statements. The role is best suited for a hands-on FP&A professional with strong Excel skills and solid accounting fundamentals.Reporting & Team

Reports into the Performance Management FP&A team
Works closely with key internal finance stakeholders as a business partner

Key Responsibilities

Support monthly and recurring FP&A reporting activities
Prepare and analyze expense reports and financial statements
Assist with consolidations and management reporting
Work extensively with large Excel-based data sets
Support the current and upcoming forecasting cycles
Provide clear financial insights and commentary to non-finance stakeholders
Act as a business partner, supporting internal teams with financial analysis and reporting needs

Requirements:Required Qualifications

CPA designation (completed or in progress)
Background in banking or financial services coupled with experience supporting consumer, retail, or card portfolios or any other financial product portfolios
Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, large datasets, etc.)
Proven experience in FP&A reporting and accounting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage recurring deliverables
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
