Job Duties
- Maintain inventory for construction materials, small tools, and construction products.
- Maintain the property surrounding the office and shop, including weed and litter control, and keep the yard and grounds organized and professional.
- Serve as contact for all materials and small tools in the yard.
- Inspect all equipment and materials when they are returned to the yard.
- Thoroughly check equipment to ensure it is in working condition.
- Store materials in an orderly manner.
- Utilize a scheduling system to coordinate, track, and provide trucking for the delivery of materials to job sites and manage resources in and out of the yard.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and provide performance and status reports.
- Implement efficient storage methods to maximize the utility of the space, keeping upcoming jobs accessible, and ensure all materials are stored safely [minimize the risk of damage/weathering].
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to work independently in a busy environment.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Highly flexible with strong people skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
- Computer literate.
- Fluent in French and English.
