- Lead and manage a national team
- Act as the primary on site point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors in Toronto and virtual support for other locations, with a strong focus on employee experience and service quality.
- Own day to day delivery of workplace “soft services” (reception, mailroom, concierge type services), including ticket management, issue resolution, and continuous service improvement.
- Conduct regular workplace walkthroughs and assessments to ensure offices are safe, clean, well organized, and welcoming.
- Provide hands on support for employees and visitors on assigned floors and locations.
- Support Zurich Canada's strategic real estate initiatives, including office moves, expansions, consolidations, refurbishments, and fit outs, in close partnership with Real Estate, Facilities, and IT.
- Contribute to project planning, coordination, and execution activities, including vendor coordination, readiness planning, and employee transition support.
- Own day to day operational employee health & safety management within the workplace, ensuring compliance with Zurich policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify safety risks and hazards, implement mitigation actions, and promote a strong safety culture across all sites.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards and adherence to all safety procedures.
- Support budget planning, financial analysis, reporting, purchasing, and vendor management related to workplace services.
- Assist with creating and dispatching work requests to technical teams and external service providers, tracking issues through to resolution.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure performance against KPIs and service level expectations.
- 8+ years relevant experience in hospitality, facilities / property management, workplace operations, or commercial real estate.
- Strong customer service mindset with a passion for creating positive employee experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast paced, operational environment.
- Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and a track record of excellent internal and external stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, process management, and problem solving capabilities.
