- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of the D Model Relife Project
- Coordinate all mine life extension truck purchases from specification through delivery, commissioning, and operational handover
- Act as the single point of accountability for assigned mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programs
- Develop and maintain project charters, detailed schedules, capital budgets, cash flow forecasts, and risk registers
- Define and control project scope, ensuring effective change management for scope, cost, and schedule impacts
- Develop integrated schedules that align mobile asset builds and truck deliveries with production and maintenance requirements
- Manage capital and operating budgets, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting
- Lead contractor and OEM selection, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring contracts clearly define deliverables, timelines, quality, and safety expectations
- Ensure procurement timelines for trucks, rebuild components, and mobile asset parts align with project execution requirements
- Ensure full compliance with site safety standards, regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and capital governance processes
- Coordinate with Reliability and Asset Health teams to embed maintainability, life cycle cost optimization, and failure prevention strategies into project design
- Ensure structured commissioning, testing, documentation, and readiness prior to operational handover, including maintenance strategies, PM programs, spares lists, OEM documentation, and CMMS integration
- Provide clear progress updates, financial forecasts, KPI tracking, and risk reporting to senior leadership, proactively escalating emerging risks
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- A Professional Engineering (P. Eng) designation, registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. (EGBC); Teck will support eligible employees with their EGBC registration
- Minimum 10 years successful experience in engineering management roles on major infrastructure, mining and/or process plant projects
- Demonstrated experience managing scope, cost, schedule, contractor performance, and capital governance requirements
- Strong understanding of mobile equipment lifecycle management, asset integrity principles, and commissioning processes
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and provide structured decision support to senior leadership
