- Deliver warm, engaging, and personalized service in both restaurant and bar environments
- Guide guests through food, wine, and cocktail menus with confidence and enthusiasm
- Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and beverage pairings
- Create memorable experiences in both high-energy dining rooms and intimate lounge settings
- Anticipate guest needs and tailor service style to suit the environment and occasion
- Ensure timely, accurate delivery of food and beverages with attention to detail
- Maintain mise en place and ensure all service areas are prepared for seamless execution
- Support service flow through food running, clearing, resetting tables, and bar support as needed
- Assist with private dining, events, and lounge service as required
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure a cohesive guest experience
- Follow all outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
- 1-2 years of experience in an upscale restaurant, lounge, or cocktail bar environment
- Serving It Right certification
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (classic and contemporary)
- Engaging personality with a genuine passion for guest service
- Ability to adapt service style between refined dining and elevated bar settings
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in presentation
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with POS systems is an asset
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, and ramps
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Dexterity and strength to support food-serving duties (e.g., carrying multiple plates)
