- Conduct QA Field Inspections in coordination with construction crews
- Communicate with Construction/Splicing managers upon site visits
- Visit FSA site (FDH and route) and any civil built and fill out QA checklist
- Report back to construction and splicing manager on any deficiencies
- Pass or mark defect according to client standard and checklist provided
- Check that any deviations from original design are marked properly on as-built
- Send in completed checklist at end of inspection phase and list of open/closed deficiencies
- Propose strategies to avoid duplication of work, minimize processing times, and reduce costs
- Adherence to and promotion of the Canadian environmental, health & safety policies
- Protects organization’s value by keeping company’s information, confidential.
- Perform follow-up with responsible parties to complete remediations on a timely manner
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

- 1-3 years’ relevant experience in the Telecommunication field
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge to work with Micro Station or AutoCAD
- Knowledge in the following considered an asset: GPON FTTP, FTTx, other Outside Plant Design
- Being able to read and understand telecommunication network drawings an asset
- Normal office environment
- Ability to work in a stressful, time-sensitive, ever-changing, and high tempo environment
- General hours of Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm - longer hours may be required
