Salary: $25- $100 per hourAbout the Company:Our client is a leading career coaching platform startup in Canada dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their career goals. They provide guidance, mentorship, and practical tools to help clients advance professionally, identify strengths, and successfully navigate career transitions.Job Summary:The Career Coach/ Mentors will work directly with clients to support career development, job search strategies, skill assessment, and professional growth. The ideal candidate has experience coaching individuals at various career stages, strong knowledge of industry trends, and the ability to provide actionable guidance that leads to measurable career outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions with clients to assess career goals, skills, and interests.
  • Develop personalized career plans, including job search strategies, resume/cover letter guidance, and interview preparation.
  • Provide guidance on career transitions, promotions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops, webinars, and career development programs on topics such as networking, personal branding, and skill building.
  • Assist clients in leveraging digital tools and platforms for job searching (LinkedIn, job boards, ATS systems).
  • Monitor client progress and provide ongoing feedback and accountability.
  • Stay current on labor market trends, emerging industries, and skills in demand.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored guidance.
  • Maintain accurate coaching records and track outcomes to measure program effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven 3+ experience as a Career Coach, Mentor, Career Counselor, or Professional Development Coach.
  • Knowledge of resume writing, interview preparation, job search strategies, and career assessment tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve professional goals.
  • Familiarity with career development platforms and tools (LinkedIn, job boards, applicant tracking systems).
  • Experience delivering workshops, webinars, or group coaching sessions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and programs.
